WELCOME TO GENERAL JOHN J. PERSHING__ANTELOPE

Teamwork-Leadership-Commitment
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

7 June: The VFW Golf Tournament at Cherry Island was a huge success. We had over 125 participants. Shout out to the organizers and members that supported this event. It would not have been a success without you and Kudo’s to "Biz and Rose”.

15 June: BBQ community event was a success. We will do it again soon. Thanks to the post and auxiliary member’s support.

18 - 23 June: The state convention was ceremonial, informative and fun. Several of our post members represent Post 4647 as officers with the district and state. You should get to know them.

4th of July: We are having a small ceremony at 1pm followed by hamburgers and hot dogs for members, family and guests. Bring your favorite potluck.

21 July: District 17 Dinner – come out and support and represent us.
